Dell Deaton interview on James Bond wristwatches for Style:MEN magazine

In addition to extensively interviewing me for the November 2009 issue of Style:MEN magazine and his "Tell Time Like a Spy" feature article, senior writer Terence Lim ran a sidebar titled, "Bonding Time."

Drawing from our several communications between December 14 and 20, 2009, Mr. Lim excerpted a question and answer format that is included in its entirety on the James Bond Watches website.

Key questions focused on the role of wristwatches in support of character development (and shorthand), trends over time, and, of course, did Ian Fleming really intend that Rolex be "the" (exclusive) James Bond watch?

As the guy who "discovered" the original, literary James Bond Rolex (a label ascribed by WatchTime magazine last February), I suppose I'm among the best-positioned to answer this.
