Fifth video of NAWCC presentation on James Bond watches (part 5) now online

.
"Where would James Bond be without his wristwatch?"

Part 5 of 6 now available on authorSTREAM.

This part primarily focuses on the original, literary James Bond watch: The personal Rolex 1016 Explorer owned and worn by Ian Fleming. Background is provided on the lead-up to both my February 2009 WatchTime and June 2009 NAWCC Bulletin articles on how this mystery dating back to the first 007 books was finally solved.

Several examples of source documentation from Rolex are provided in the visuals. Much of this had never been seen before this presentation at the 64th Annual Convention of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors in Grand Rapids, Michigan, last June 13.

This segement then transitions into labels for James Bond watches that serious researchers are using for identification and to assist collectors. A sample pricing matrix is also provided.
