Ian Fleming Centenary!

Ian Lancaster Fleming was born May 28, 1908; today he would have been 100 years old. To his family, friends, and fans, happy Centenary!

Personally, I spent most of the day at the Lilly Library on the Indiana University Campus, Bloomington. There I had the opportunity to review the original manuscripts of the James Bond novels, including Live and Let Die and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. These, fans will recall, are the only books where Mr. Fleming names the James Bond watch by brand.
